Transferable Skills

Definition

Transferable skills are abilities you have built in one role, industry, or context that apply equally well to another. Examples include leadership, data analysis, customer service, and project coordination. They are especially valuable when you change careers or industries, because they let you show relevance even without identical job titles. Framing your experience around transferable skills helps an employer see how your background fits their needs.
